Did a search, nothing useful,

A15 head running a 280 to 290 cam, what is the most cost effective yet reliable valve spring setup to use to support decent RPM?

If I switch to the GX springs as one or two people have told me to do would I need to change the retainers? or is there a decent aftermarket kits available that wont rupture my bank ballance?

Thanks

my a14 head with 280 276 cam 295 lift uses 2lt camera springs for the hieght not sure of the inner springs but they have been shimmed top get the right tension. the engine builder tried red 202 springs but they didn't have the hieght or the tension, im not sure which.

I can get double springs, collets, seats and retainers,

springs are either GX to 8k
or others to 10k..

8000rpm is more than enough for me,

How much? I am 100% for doing a motor right the 1st time, but this is my budget car (my RB makes me poor enough)

Thanks

I'm keen on some 10000rpm springs for my race engine. How can I get hold of a set?

Thanks
Gerald
