Those clever little Datsun engineers came up with some increible little A series packages & the A14 stroker crank combo is probably the one that got away due to the need to create a long lasting design. The piston side loadings & rod angles were probably more than they wanted to use in a production engine.

As I said, this is probably the practical limit for the short deck block, & even then, is best suited to competition or enthusiast use.
