I inquired about bottle rental for this and oxy welding. The yearly rate was something like $130 - $150 and that seems quite reasonable to me cos if your going to have one your going to use it.

It is less expensive to use the large bottle than the size D bottle down here in tassie 130 to fill to fill the large size C I think and 99 to fill size D plus about 12.50 a month for rental of the bottle. If you use all the gas just take the bottle back till your next project and you dont get charge rental

i was lucky to get a 130 gas/gasless mig on ebay and its the best thing iv brought it takes a little more time to weld then normal mig but practical and its fan cooled its wicked and i wouldnt look back

I bought an older 2nd hand SIP migmate [gas] off ebay for $300. It doesn't have amp settings; just HI MED and LOW but I've used it for rust repairs on my charger; my 1200 wagon and made a rack to hold my swag on the back of my motorbike, and I have no complaints.

HEY champ i have a Toolex 180amp gas, payed $1100 fully ajustable setting so no blowing holes, does the job i need hasnt missed a beat.......

gasless a no good the flux wire is crap!, you get what you pay for, .............cheers goodluck
