Bonnets?
DattoFrog

HI all, I have started / nearly finished the body work on the frog. I managed to get the dings out of the front gaurds but my bonnet is a real mess. I think it is a little out of my league! It appears that it must of come open whilst in motion at one stage, not good! I was wondering if you have used those repo bonnets, do they fit OK and are they straight?
I am in two minds as to what to do.

Thanks for the heads up. Being a bit thin isn't a concern the more I look at my original one the more I am going for a replacement. At $120 it isn't worth the time I would have put into it. I am better off just to put the new one one and paint it.

i agree... even if you dont like how thin it is you can always put a dynamat backing on it

Can't see an issue with a thin bonnet after all it's just to keep the rain off. Thin = less weight. Weight = "the enemy" You can view topic.
