Apparently you use Nitro gylcerine patches that promote healing otherwise it kills a whole lot of skin and makes a huge scar
Cheers

Well, Datsun fans, we can become the first auto club in the world with security in mind, I mean, real security. Instead of the (or in addition to...) a fire extinguisher, we should have another red bottle handy, DDT/bug killer(I think DDT is already genetically inefective, bugs like a light refreshing shower with DDT,already inmune to it, we need the latest bug killers), you bugs, worms, spiders, sleep flies, etc, get lost!!( just kiddin, not to be so crazo, but a little bug killer can in the trunk would be helpfull)

you aussies forgot to tell everyone about the bird eating spider from north Queensland, after reading these near death stories of red backs onyour vehicles I am going to get a sticker for my Datsun that states " protected by red back securty" just to see if there will still be any takers. a web or two in the window should help. Since moving her from Kiwi land I too have had my share of encounters but coming face to face with a big Brown Snake was enough for me. 3rd most poisonous snake in the world I think. And I don't want to meet another one.

I've been bitten by a white tail. It wasnt too bad, but it all depends, the reaction can vary from person to person, some people just get a red bump that itches, and in the worst case, some people get reactions reminiscent of the Brown Recluse pics. Thank Christ most poisonous things here are either really reclusive, or so pre-historic they cant kill very well.....Tiger Snake, im looking at you...how would it feel, the most deadly poison in the world, but no effective way to deliver it!

P.S About the Rugby, who cares? How come NZ doesnt have a REAL football team?

I went to look @ a '67 Toyota Corona for sale yesterday. $350 OBO and REALLY clean & complete. Good deal, until I discovered Black Widows all over it! I want the car but..............It would have to be driven into a lake of napalm!

They had the Fierce Snake (or Taipan) in the zoo.. and lives only in the really hot and arid regions of AUS eg the Simpson and Gibber Desert. The thing will chase you over the dunes and one drop of vemon can kill 200,000 mice. Also what about the stories of brown snakes lying on the road...you run over them at 100kph and they wrap themselves under your car then attack you once you've stopped to get out...
