i don't think it is a gr8 ****. u need more time and analises. i was reading yesterday. a guy found a programm that will help you to reduce the **** and will do all calculations for you but i'm still finding out where to download it from. i will keep you informed on this.

my opinion on rack and pinion is that it is worth the **** for a gr8 handling. i m doing my b310 with a 240sx rack and pinion. i will keep u informed on this.

ha, I can now edit it.

Does anyone see an EDIT button at the bottom of your own posts?

It would apear you hafto to buy the program for $29.95 and download it. probly not bad concidering all the stuff the program contain's! looks as though you could use it to calculat just about anything you might modifi or fabricate for a car!?

Hi guys , the computer programs are great for your initial ideas on geometry but you must have extremly accurate dimentions to put into it or as the tech heads say "garbage in= garbage out" I have had more success with my camber caster gauge and bump steer gauge as this measures whats realy happening on your particular car , it's not a fast process i spent 2 days jacking my wheel up and down and changing shims for the height and length of my modified rack to get a good result , when i asked a racecar builder friend of mine if i was on the right track he said he has spent a week to get a result. Unless you can measure in 3dimentions to less than .2 of a millimeter the computer prog is not accurate enough by itself. WARDS

yeah i sont think the old stanley tape measure is gunna be accurate enough to measure up my rack positioning lol im thinking that this is definately going to be the hardest part of the conversion, fun and games
