1 piece door windows...

So I have been looking around at modifying a b210's solid glass to fit our b110. The windows appear to have the same curve just a little off with the angles. Has anyone had any luck with a glass cutter cutting windows before? I'm having issues finding one here in Vancouver, Wa.
Or I was contemplating making them out of thick Plexiglas and having them coated to prevent scratches. I need your guys opinions please.....

Well auto glass is tempered so no cutting an existing window. You can though use a sandblaster.
As far as coating plexi dont think that is going to happen either. You could use Lexan which I think is less prone to scratching.

one peice glass is awsome! It's the biggest drawback with old cars that they have those little quarter windows that leak/whistle/create a blindspot.

I actually prefer the little quarter windows... great for ventilation when you don't have aircon! The 1200 would have a more modern look with the single sheet of glass though. Pity they never brought out a pillarless version of the 1200 coupe with one piece front windows (that would give the 1200 a mini muscle car look!)

In Vancouver, WA try calling Big John's butcher shop, he does custom fab work such as chop tops, etc. so he has a guy that cuts the glass if not i have extra door glass.

Cool thanks for the hook up I have tomorrow off so I will defantly be giving him a call. Also if you have a spare passenger window I will trade you the sedan one I have in there now. I would just really like to be able to roll up my window all the way
