Does anyone have any information on the 1981 210?
There's one for sale near by that I was thinking about checking out, but I'm having trouble finding data online. I thought people here may have a better opinion and knowledge about it than some random website I dig up.

Sale claims that it's an automatic 2door coupe.

I'd be interested in what anyone could tell me.

What kind of specs to you want? A series motor. Depending on what model, could be a A14 or A15. I know in 1982 a deluxe version had the A15. With an Auto Tranny, I'm not sure what Diff would be in the rear. Just go check it out.

They are good cars. If you like it's looks and the way it drives, buy it. It is not a fast car.

Just be careful about RUST.

I was mostly interested in quality of mechanicals and such. Is it a sound car? Are there certain things that are renowned for failing and costing tons of money to fix etc.

Also any idea on what price I should expect, so I know if I'm not getting completely ripped off.

post claims little to no rust, though the seats are torn up, but it comes with seat covers.

is this 210 an aussie b310??
if so the most notorious rust spot i have found is on the RHS (looking from the front)of the engine bay, where the 2 panels meet. You can usually find rust by looking through the wheel well (again rhs, from the front).. depends on how well the car has been sheltered.

Nah, it is Aussie Sunny. B310 is the Nissan factory chassis code. Marketed as "Sunny" in AUS, "210" in USA, and "120Y/140Y/150Y" in most other places in the world. It's all the same car: B310.

B310 is a good car, no problem spots other then rust. It's got the A-series engine, so you know there is nothing renowned for going wrong.

That being said, any can go wrong after 27+ years. Look it over carefully, rev the engine to make sure it don't smoke, and lift up the carpets to look for rust. I'd buy one in good shape if I didn't already have several cars.
