Lowering the engine, as in making the mounts shorter?

This is so that you can fit the air cleaner that you have isnt it?

The 1k mounts are already short as, and if you drop it any lower, I would think that the sump will start rubbing on the cross-member. I dont think that you can lower the engine any.

When you saw Dundee, did he have anything to say on it. He is the 1k specialist in Perth.

I would think that the solution is to modify the intake setup somehow.

Sheds, well.... the pepsi challange is still on Dundee...

the motor is mounted with 1000 rubber mounts and roughly 2.5 inch angle to get the motor sitting back to the oringal spot i dont think you have any room to go down

get some su's or sidedraught webber

or it might clear with a filter that looks like this click me

how much room be between the bonnet and the carbie ?

I've been toying with the idea of moving the motor back
But I figured if it went down it would probably be too low inc the gearbox

Custom sump mods needed for both anyway

Hey you know better that that. I dont need discounts. That would be cheating. You may alreay have a shed and a council that is not filled with F**Kbags, but you havent won yet....

Pepsi challange is on!

And becisdes, everyone always backs the underdog!

well in the past with a late sump they usually touch and need spacing up to clear..
I think the Mount brackets to the block must be different ones...
