Stuff between top of mudguard and car

Gday all
After removing the mudguards on the 120y the stripe between the fender and car body A BLACK THIN strip of fabric/rubber at the top where it bolts on has fallen apart and is useless.
What is this suff called and where do you get it.............
or what else do you use

gday mate i had the same stuff on the y
I took it off and havent reely replaced it
But i probably should

When im looking ill probably first check bunnings, clarck rubber and if no joy there some auto places

I would call it packing tape i dont know what its proper name is

the strip is about 25mm wide and 1or2mm thick with holes for gaurd bolts.
I had an EH holden and it never had it so maybe it only in imported cars.

nah it is meant to be there inbetween the panels cant remember why but yes they are meant to be on there. i think clark rubber would be your best bet. take the old one to them doesnt matter how crap it is, if they dont have it they can get it

Clarke Rubber has stuff you can use, is double sided so you can stick it to the top of the inner guard & then have the guard stick to it. You just have to cut holes for the bolts. It's only slightly sticky, so if you need to get the guard off it's not too hard. It also stretches, so it'll go around curves.I think the original stuff is a glueto keep the guard from vibrating too much, this makes the car quieter.
