What alerted you that there was a problem? or did a routine check find it?

yeah i had a nosie, ended up being alergic to cats and that triggered heaps of stuff, i quit soon after under a statement my mrs said, quit smaoking or i wont go out with you... took me 17 tries over 1 year cold turkey before that.

i have had a few indiscretions when really drunk though, but not many.

you feel better bout 6 months later, and really good about 2 years later.

ive never seen u smoke nigel?

I smoked only about 3-5 cigs a day and a lot more with beer for about 20 years then read allan cars book quit easyway, then found i could give up easy for weeks even months no problem,

but then race to the shop to get some every time i get really pissed off then fume like a chimney. The book never covered that side of it, any ideas?

All the best Dattofrog. sounds like at least you're getting it checked out early.
Alan Carrs "Stop Smoking The Easy Way" book is the way to go. I quit after 20 years straight of moderate to heavy smoking from reading that book, and still feel its the best thing ive ever done, dont miss it one bit. Also have seen it work on other "confirmed" smokers since.
you're sposed to keep smoking while reading it so what have you got to lose?

I cannot urge enough anyone who smokes to read it.
