So since my B10 in PNG is buried in the depths of a 40ft container while I'm studying in Australia, I've been working on getting a decent performance engine to suit the little B10.
Just got a second job so HOPEFULLY I can keep things progressing at a reasonable pace.
At the moment I'm still pretty hesitant on dropping the A12 gear in the beaut little B10 as she's VERY nice as she is. So hopefully if things workout well another B10 will come up for sale and I can put the engine into that and the Red B10 can go back into storage.
Here are a few pictures to show what's going on. I'm about to rebuild the engine, nothing drastic just a new set of rings, a decent hone, a bit of measuring and checking to confirm everything is square (or round for that matter) and then I'll probably enlist the help of a mechanic to get everything timed in nicely.
Here goes. Listing off some of the goodies in no particular order. Just like my B10 in PNG most of these parts have been collected over the last year, big money for a one-off purchase, but not so hard on the wallet if they're bought over time. Bargains take time....mostly waiting & watching.
The black & white photo's are just as the camera is. It appears since the recent "Souf Ostraya" Datsun party my camera seems to have a hang-over (stuck on black & white).

Here is the host for the engine......maybe.
