WTB or trade 1K heater

So it occurred to me for the last 10 years or so I haven't owned a car with a working heater, this included a number of winters driving around in Tasmania freezing my wang off in a Toyota Stout in the with the windows down so they wouldn't fog up.
Ive made attempts to get the one going that came with my wagon but plastic parts are cracked, pipes missing, switches busted, and after forking out to have the core fixed up the valve has since seized. :(
In the interest of looming seasonal changes I am looking for one (Nichira type) in slightly better working condition than mine, or parts of.
Yeh I could go the hair dryer but I actually like this heater unit as part of the car :/

Willing to buy and/or trade a 1k coupe dash with gauges.

Anyone in a position to help me out in living my decade long dream of owning a car with basic mod-cons?

Scully, so sorry I haven't gotten back to you.

I'll collect the heaters tomorrow and have a look at the two.

Is yours the type that has the two flaps opening either side into the foot wells or is the earlier type with a single flap opening into the cabin.

Thanks guys! Its the one with the double flaps Chris and no probs, I know how busy you are ATM.
Maybe PM me what you have with prices or swaps details and I if needed can provide more detailed pic of dash. Lags, if you have a decent unit It might be easier just to do the deal at the cruise to save Dundee or Chris the postage hassle? Let us know how you go and well take it from there.

Hello Scully,

As promised I have two heaters here with me. I will get some photo's for you. They look pretty good.

I haven't ever run them so I'll need a little while to have a look at them.

Chris
