that ute has to be the hottest ute and with the 13bt it must be a rocket. anyway i was just wondering with this conversion did you use a rx4/rx5 front engine plate or use a s4.5 engine crossmember?

Changed to a 12a timing cover and mounted the motor from the front of the engine. There is a few different ways you can do it. But each way you need to modify the original cross member to get it right

the dump pipe is tight. i went 3 inch and there is no room to spare. the wastegate was a pain aswell. i kept my front mount behind the grill. so i had to cut a bit out of the thermo fan to make it work. all nice and tight. im going to sell the car as a roller with the hilux diff if anyone is keen. it has a massive trans tunnel and is set up for a rota to go strait in. bought another car and going to focus more on drag then street.

what gear box are you running ive got the same thing at home but with an older 13b, i now want to upgrade to a series 5 13b turbo, im mounting mine from the front of the engine and using an early 13b sump, i am thinking of using a supra 5 speed as its smaller but can i use the standard box?
