Hey PIGDOG, thanks for your answer, after spending the day looking at the tech wiki and asking around on my local forums

I am going to be keeping the Datsun struts and getting new Bilstein inserts and putting a ground control coilover kit on them, I organized today to get a set of S13 front rotors and calipers by friday, so i'll fot that on the original hubs too.

I got the photos of the rear (and yes, there are upper arms of the rear link - they are also adjustable too)

about the rear struts and coil overs, i was thinking of maybe inverting them? but upon inspecting better, i realize there is no room at all.. I will have to rethink this, and I am also welcomed to suggestions as this is my first old datto :)

ah so it is a 2 link setup, just that the link can be pulled apart
so they aren't really upper arms as such, more just the upper mounting point for the lower arm if that makes sense

will be cutting off the spring perches and welding on some ground control coil-overs. everything happening so quickly LOL, my wallet is empty

also picking up my new 3 Core copper radiator i had custom made. lots of updates coming soon!!
