OK OK OK
So I bolted up my original lower control arms that I thought were B110 stuff, but turns out they are B310 (or 210) arms with B310 ball-joints.. and the tension rods are different too as the S13 ends screwed right on there without any tapping the rods..
the thing is the lower ball joint is at an awkward angle, still, but I realized my Tein camber plates dont give as much adjustments as other camber plates as they were designed for the S13 and would be mounted the opposite way as the b110.
So i am thinking of getting T3 camber plates as they offer allot more negative camber adjustment.. but then the ball joint is still a little off angle.. so I am trying to get KE70/AE86 lower control arms as they have the ~8* of taper at the ball-joint, but are shorter than the S13 units..
here are the Tein camber tops mounted
But for now, I am going to mount up everything and dial in as much camber as possible and see how it is, I'll try the KE lca's and then maybe the T3 camber plates
here are some photos for now
fenders rolled with my wooden baseball bat
120Y Control Arm, Ball Joint. 1200 Caster Rod, S13 Steering end, 120Y Tension Rod, S13 Spindle, Brakes and Tein Coilovers..
Sitting 22.5" from ground to the fender lip, 205 50 15's fitted.. i need to run 185's even 45 series if i can find for the front..
this is the AE86/KE70 control arm vs the S13 and others.. I will press in S13 balljoints.. and get the S13 balljoint angle almost right and keep the track within being able to eventually get some decent wheels.
