Hey Kristian,

Thanks again for those stockies, they're in really good nick very very happy with them. They'll be copping the super thick whitewallin' soon.

I was just wondering where you got the 175/50/13 tyres from and what sort of money they cost? I haven't really rung around yet but Sumitomo seems to be the popular one around. Looking for some fairly well priced rubbers as funds are fairly limited (kids + hobby/project car + uni is a bad combination!).

Got some classic 13 inch Enkei Compe 8's I'd like to run sometime soon.

Cheers.

OOOH, love that fitment!!! I might have something in the pipeline too. Im sick of looking at these wheels and not driving on them.

Not too keen on the giant subwoofer you have mounted on the rear parcel shelf tho?!?! hehe

@ Clyons, i picked up some nice Nexen 175/60-13 the other day. A shade over 100 each. Not as pimp as the 175/50s, but good value. Might be too big on the 1k tho.

Got a present from japan today! JDM front guard indicators (both shell and lenses) and sunny rear 1/4 badges.

Also got today new centre rod and left right tie rod bars.

Big thanks to Scott at Maddat for finishing off front struts and brakes.

So next step I think will be measuring up for new diff. Then getting shell put on rotisserie to clean/paint undercarriage .

Pic frenzy to follow........

I love this build, but I must agree with sny120, more pics will be nice.

I need to steel some ideas from the pics.

OK well dummied up front wheels and had help from SNY120 measuring up diff. Current pics are conservative being that no metal lippage has happened as yet and keeping in mind this car will be legally road reg'd. Forgot to take pics of dummy set up for leaf clearance and diff, but i assure it was fully sikaflex! broom sticks and angle aluminium everywhere.

got s little carried away and wanted to see what front wheels are going to look like, that then led to fitting indicators to get the whole deal. hey heres an idea... hurry up and finish it and i wont have to pretend.

anyway pics bee-low,

check out the prince of parties ute on da mk!!'s
