if you have a fairly basic engine, in good condition and in a good state of tune, you'll get ten years out of sparkplugs.

and if you get platinum plugs you only replace them every 100,000 kms on a healthy engine.
Regular (quality) servicing gives you improved reliability, which means less breakdowns on the side of the road.

Hi Guys

Pulled all the Plugs yesterday back and checked only one plug was bit black like the pic here all the other plugs were ash mixed white color and were very clean

Yes, the plug is fouled. It's not a bad plug, but something is wrong with the engine. It will foul the next plug you fit.

Now your task is to find the cause and repair it.

#4 seems to cop the PCV fallout I've found. . . a little darker but nothing extreme.

Are you having any issues with the float level?
If fuel is pooling, it usually end up in #4 too. . .

be careful removing and replacing spark plug leads while the engine is running.

a good spark will jump a fair distance, and they bite really hard!

thanks for advices, at the moment i am using NGK BKR5E in my 1200, but this is not the correct plug for it . i think it is BPR4ES.will that be this issue , i don't think so,

YEAH! I got grilled by my Scorcher ignition on high idle a few weeks back WOW that was pretty startling!

NGK BPR5 is a correct plug -- See Spark plugs.
NGK BKR5 is I don't know what it is

It is not causing the problem, or all the BKR5E plugs would be fouled. Unless you are using other plugs in the other three cylinders...
