I had a 3T celica box behind my old race A14 from memory it cost around $800 (3-4 years ago) including the box & kit ect had to get a few things machined great box nice and
strong just had to enlarge the tunnel a little to make it fit.

Fellas I need to get a new diff centre for my ute and I heard that the 8-bolt bluebird diff comes
in two different ratios.
Which one is the 3.9? Auto or man ?
Does the flange on the centre bolt up to the standard flange on my ute tailshaft??
Thanx PPL

Good questions. Because my bluebird centre went into a customer tailshaft situation I'm not sure.
I know that almost all of the Bluebird centres were 3.9. There was one import model that used 3.7 though. Otherwise you never use 1st gear. Not When using the Skyline
R30? stumpy gearbox anyway..I used to drive around using 2nd and 4th.
I guess the answer to your flange issue would be to trace out the ute one..and take a copy with you to the wreckers. But unfortunately I don't have the answers.

Chris.
