I was looking at your 60 series trans mount & it seems different then the one I had to fab up - is the sedan a different tunnel setup where you can use the stock cross member ? It sure looks like that or did you have to mod it somehow to make it work?

here's the one I made to fit the 60A 5 speed in a coupe tunnel using the stock trans mount....

Thanks for the pics that helps heaps, now I can workout what to do with the hand brake cables aswell (Its hard when you dont have a set!)
EDP: I made my gearbox mount out of original parts to avoid dramas at the pits for rego, the only drama with it is it raises the gearbox a little bit too much and the gearbox breather tube has to be removed.
The tunnels are the same for manual trans.
Looking bloody good mate well done both of you :)

You can use one of the r31 cables to do the RH side but the LH side has to be made up ( or I did, i'm sure if you have the time you could search the wreckers for something the correct length)
the other mods are bending the cable mounts at the caliper end to miss the leaf springs this is best checked in car or bolt up some leaf springs to your diff on the bench, I had to heat them up to bend them. i also welded some tags to the inside of the caliper bracket to prevent the bearing from "escaping".

I noticed the welded tags, I was going to make up a circular insert to weld in for the same purpose but I think I'll go with tags like yours and save heaps of time for the same result!

Sunny was telling me how Oges has his setup. I'm trying to imagine it but I'm picturing this. The bearing retainer is two eliptical plates that can be removed without having to remove the brake mount in order to change axels and bearing quickly.

My interpretation of the description

I think I understand the concept but there would be a lot of very precise machining involved, probably worth it for a race setup.
