Ok ok, what's going on here!!

Electric reduction gearbox assist? Looks pretty neat.
I'd be bit scared if the sensors that detect the steering shaft turning go closed circuit due to a fault. No questions asked, it would drive you into a tree on the side of the freeway at 60 mph.

They are used in many new cars, they must be reliable?

is that a 1200 steering column or something else to show the concept? (not familar with the pogo sticks...)

The top half past the uni joint would have to be modified a fair bit to have the gears mesh etc.

I personally wouldnt have a use for it. I mean its not like the steering isnt light enough anyways, but thats not to say its of no use.

What is th eplan for this DD?

It is a 1200 steering column/gearbox, cut in half and a u-joint put in the middle. Like a 510 steering u-joint. The power unit looks to be from a newer car. These modded 1200 gearboxes are now for sale in Japan.

Do you have a website or link DD? I would be safe to assume that they want your left kidney for it?
