i was just tinkering and removing the front strut assembly from my white ute cus in the new year i will be putting s13 calipers and disks on...

the drivers side came out sweet with only 2 tiny taps of the hammer on the tie rod end... the passengers side is still in there after 20mins of first tapping then smashing with my hammer... i am ready to explode

is there any other tricks to getting the tie rod off the strut?

Loosen the nut but leave it on the tie rod end.
Take one f'off big hammer and belt the snot out of the end of the steering arm until it cracks loose.

Done!

Or you can get special tierod/balljoint tools, they are like a fork type thing that you wedge between the tierod and steering arm and then belt the end of it so it wedges them apart..

get two hammers and bash both sides at the same time. That's the master trick.
