damn, guess those mirrors have to wait til a later pst engenieering car show where some one steals your stock mirrors and you just end up using them til you can find some of those rare and hard to find stock mirrors that may never show up ever again for sale....

Been a while since my last confession.
Started getting the body ready two weeks ago, stripped all etch primer and started from a bare metal shell. Filled up wiper motor hole , excess holes in engine bay, rear badge mount filled in and new indicator holes cut, old ones also filled in.
First sprayed a polyester fill sanded that back then primed it all. Seems so easy to write but took weeks to do! Really happy with how it looks in primer feels like ive ticked another box
Also should have my 215/50/13s here soon. there going on the rear wheels, engineer much happier with tyre rim combo now. New diff should be ready soon. Fitted it with braided line to match the rest of the flexible lines with stainless solid tubing.
Looks like three weeks untill i can borrow a booth so may work on dash gauge setup. its on our kitchen table i better try to finish it soon or ill be sleeping in the 120!

Cleaned down the dash ages ago, finally started to finish it off. Wanted to do carbon but didnt want it standing out. Happy with the result. Now time to put gauges in. Iv e modified holes to fit them but because there being mounted from behind the dash to keep them deep in the hole the usual clamp mount method wont work. The only thing i can think off is hot glue then in??

Seeing as this GX dash has three large cluster holes and i only had two gauges (revs/speedo) that left one spare. At first i was going to just put the standard clock i got with the dash..... untill i found out its not from a b210! nor would it match the new look. Next was an idea of a flat panel with pilot lights eg like narva style ones, wasnt sold on that either.
Then this came to me in a dream ( almost like the fox when homer ate to much chilli )
First take one old dash inlay, cut out warning icons as needed use standard light block and replace with new icons Get autometer guage bulbs , they fit perfectly in old light block Strip Drift gauge and modify to take new block Cut ABS to shape to give mirror effect. Drill holes to accommodate new warning lamps.
Not finished yet but you get the idea.
