Doesnt matter if the 454 won, your car is not even dynoed yet and its almost a 1/4 the capacity of the 454. Ill pm you my email then Ill put it up on here if thats ok or get some1 to Utoob it? Id love a 2 door 1200 sedan with an L18, l20b crank, 89mm bores Z18 et head with boost. I dream of going to the states and bringing back a tudor 110 or at worst a 310 tudor stanza.

It was the alternator. Put a spare in at it showed a charge at 14.5 volts. Not sure what happened to the other one but it sure wouldn't let me stomp on the accelerator. Im ready for the quarter mile.

Ok. First time on website in the last month and a half. I have done nothing. I decided to sell my house and move and that's what I did. You would not believe how much stuff you can collect in 15 years. I moved a lot of stuff in my shop and threw a bunch out. I did find out that I need a larger crank pulley for the SC. I ran into someone with a Mercedes SLK Kompressor and he showed me his engine. Says his boost is quick. My rpm's have to spool up before I get boost. Have not raced since late May. Car has been sitting. So no quarter mile times. :( Hopefully will get it out of my new garage today and fire it up. Still planning for Blue Lake in August and searching for a bigger crank pulley.

So Im finally back. The last few months my car has been out of commission. I raced in mid July only to break my welds on my axle leaf spring brackets which in turn snapped my rear U-Joint on the drive shaft when the axle twisted upward. I guess to much torque to the wheels off the line. Got the drive shaft fixed but until now, I was without a shop to do the work. In July as previously mentioned, I gave up my shop of 12 years. I traded that and my house for a place on the lake. House, dock, boathouse and waterskiing and fishing everyday. It was an even trade or better, but no shop. I settled for a detached 3 car garage with no power. Well, the previous owner ran an extention cord to the garage for power. WTF? So after doing the needed and important work on the house, I finally had time to work on the garage. Trenched cable and wired garage for 22O volts. So the welder and compressor are back up and running. After all that, it only took me a couple of hours to pull the rearend and weld the leaf spring brackets and put the car back together. As I also mentioned, I needed to step up the crank pulley for the supercharger. I was only running a 4.75 inch crank to a 3.75 inch supercharger pulley. My boost was only kicking in at high RPM's. So the other day I spent part of the day at the junkyard looking for a 6 inch pulley. Figured that would do the trick. I found one that I thought would work and figured I would need to have my friend machine me a spacer for belt lineup but when I got home, the bolt hole was the right size and when I sucked up the crank bolt, the pulley lined up perfectly. Sweet! Measure the needed belt and ran down to the auto parts store and picked it up. I was suprised when I got it out on the road. I think I added another 50hp to the beast! At a rolling start in first gear with the clutch out(no high RPM's and no dropping the clutch)I can smoke the tires! Filled the Nitrous bottle yesterday as well. I think I may be now ready for a Dyno. If I dont break anything. I will attempt some Youtube videos soon. Something I have never done. So anyways, last 1/8 race of the year is Sunday so if no rain, I'll be there. Sorry, no 1/4 runs at all. The move this year killed my racing season.
Hope all is well.

Great moves Ernie, some people chase their tails and others live the dream as soon as they can. If only property was as well priced here with the picturesque surroundings and ammenities here without having to pay if off for 300 years. Sounds like the Z engine is going to decimate and embarrass quite alot of disbelievers.
