Wow missed this build Sweet as mate awesome work. Wondered where pigs old donk went to was so tempted by it and im thinking of going back down the L series path again with me coupe or wagon. There an awesome motor would be even sweeter with a turbo setup.

gotta love this coupe. not cause its a coupe, color.stance. engine- its a combination.

not sure bout the rear cannon, might be mighty loud with that l18 up front.

Yeah the cannon is definitely going, it's getting a new exhaust system from the extractors back, will just have a tucked up high blacked out dump pipe at the back, I'll run a muffler before the diff and maybe a hot dog before that

mmm black bonnet might look better if you do black boot too. im doing that and black fuel flap. might as well make it look like a bumble bee.

I had that setup already orange with black bonnet and boot and fuel flap but it holds a heap of heat in the car

if the paint is gloss, black bits have to be gloss. if paint is matt black has to be matt. it looks so bad because the paint finish is so different between the two

i want to recommend a couple of things but then i'd just be telling you to do it same as mine... so that makes me think im just biased lol

better to be different, and it does look awesome as is

so you got it running yet?

i was actually running a 2 inch ish spacer on that tailshaft when it was behind the CA, so most definately can be done. dont remember any bad vibrations or anything like that up to about 200kph...so its probably pretty right
other think you could do is get the diff flange from a H165 as they are longer than the h190 and should still go onto the pinion so that will take up about an inch atleast so then you wont need as much of a spacer. then the other flange i gave you with the tailshaft should go straight up

i was running 2.5 inch exhaust with a single offset straight through muffler....sounded pretty tough. was also pretty loud but you get that when you have exhaust and carbies making noise at the same time

The coupe drove under it's own steam today, not by me though but by a mechanic mate
He said it goes pretty good, not sure how to interpret that but he did used to own a 10 second Ca 1200 wagon so not sure what to expect. Hopefully have it home soon
