I agree with John, or maybe it is a ball bearing turbo? if so do you have the restrictor in the oil feed?

idle is pretty constant never goes up or down just above 500rpm, could a stuffed turbo affect the compression levels, i have a feeling my timing is out which is why it idles low,

adjusting the idles screw would be my last resort,i will check today for oil in the intake

just had a thought, that if my engine overheated enough would the water line and oil line get that hot that the oil gets that thin n stuff the seal, and same thing for the water?

it dose not blow anything at idle just under boost and the more boost the worse and intesne it gets.

yea turbo seals gone by the sounds of it, blue smoke is usually the indicator. it wont affect idle, if your engine has overheated it could of overheated the turbo bearing and affected your seals i guess just depends how you were driving when it overheated

A compression test is done with the throttle wide open, ignition and if possible fuel off and the starter turning it over. 90psi sounds about half or what you'd get if the throttle was closed. It probably says in the tech section how to do it correctly.

I would make sure timing is 100% and then do a compression test both wet and dry. Have a look at the spark plugs, are they oil fouled? Take note on which cylinder each plug comes out of as it will give u an indication of what is going on in each cylinder. If the engine overheated that bad it will damage the piston rings ( the heat causes them to loose their spring tension and not seal) once the head has been repaired the next weakest link could be the rings/ bores. I say this as I have seen it before. If compression is good move on to something else

boost under engine load? could be the rocker cover breathers if its not hooked up to a catch can... check that the pcv valve connected to the back of the inlet manifold is closing properly otherwise boost pressure will push oil out the other breather on the exhaust side and go stright into the intake. also adjust the ilde via the idle control valve if it still has one, otherwise just adjust the grub screw on the throttle body to bump up the revs. your looking for around 750 with stock cams

Just done a comp test the right way this time n I have 150,150,135,150 pretty constant except no3 so I checked the plugs n coil n noticed white powder/deposits around coil n spark plug, not sure what that means but I'm sure vac leak or to lean

Would this cause low idle/blue smoke?

Also it only pours blue smoke as boost is climbing but nothing at idle,I checked the turbo for any leaks but it's clean at the turbine wheel n clean through the intake. And I can hear a werird turbo whining sound as it goes up in boost around 3-5000rpm

Could the coil pack be faulty?
