I won't say this post doesn't belong on this site, but I will say it does belong in the Off Topic Forum, not the Main (read: DATSUN 1200 ONLY) Forum.

Just my $0.02.

For the lot of you who don't believe in Jesus nor live in Northern Calif. I will fill you in on why I sent out this post. I wanted to find someone in my area who believes in the Lord Jesus to give my 73 Datsun 1200 to. Because it's not junk and means alot to me, that all I wanted to know about the person that I gave it to. Say the word God or Jesus and the evil gets mad and starts shaking in his boots. I'm not mad, I love you all. Maybe we all don't love Jesus, but we all do love datsuns. I think for that reason alone we can all get alone together.

I Love Jesus as well as Datsuns
Syl

Very honourable intentions, but giving your datsun away??? ,

With all respects to you Syl, that to me is the ultimate heresy. Unless you have replaced it with a more desireable model. In which case you are a very generous person.

We really do love our datto's, though religion is a very sticky topic. As 89mm pointed out there are many people who do not like the use of the word "Jesus" because they believe in the Jewish, Islamic, Hindu or Buddhists god equivalent.

Do we want a fragmented 1200.com with Protestant 1200.com, Catholic 1200.com, Buddist 1200.com and Jewish 1200.com etc, etc.

In essence, use of religous terms in public forum's is not on, even though you have a stong desire to show your commitment.

Its a bit like politics or sex in that regard and best kept to ones self so it is not provocative to other persons.

We all have different things that ring our bells. Try to keep them from becoming a part of what is a really good and mostly informative forum.

Hope you find a suitable person that needs a good Datsun.

I once uttered the word "Jesus" while riding in my friend's 510 for the first time. We were sideways in second gear and having lots of fun! Also, sometimes I buy tortas from a local taqueria and I think one of the cooks is named Jesus but I don't love him, nor do I fear him...

Anyway, I live in Santa Cruz, CA and would probably be willing to take the little Datsun off your hands, it would be my second 1200.. You can reach me at:

Good day.

Hello bro or sis? Good to see someone has a fear of the Lord, as it is the beginning of wisdom! If you want to ship to N.Z please reply. God Bless.

ressurections are a strong theme in pagan religions dating back to the earliest egyptian beliefs. the romans took this and other ideas from various rituals of the time and created a state religion two thousand years ago.
it's amazing that in this day and age, with the facts easilly available, millions of fools still believe in this crap called christianity.
wise up.
