Does anyone know if there are any factory/NISMO or aftermarket performance parts for the Nissan/Datsun A15 engine? I might be using this engine/drivetrain in a Lotus Seven
replica which I am planning to build.

Heya Nick.

You can still get alot of performance parts from Nissan like camshafts, valve springs, oil cooler kits etc. But theres other after market stuff like Weisco forged pistons, custom camshafts
that are cheaper than going thru Nissan.

My A14 race engine has roughly 150hp and goes very well in a 1200 coupe. In a kit car Lotus i assume it will have almost no weight from fibreglass panels and would go damn hard i think!
Are u in Sydney? If so i can get u a number for a very good A series engine builder. cya

Thanks for the info Davo. I live in Malaysia. If I can achieve 110 horses I will be very happy. This is quite sufficient for a Seven replica. I am building it from plans
by Ron Champion (www.ronchampion.com).

Nick, just been looking thru the Ron Champion site. My engine in one of those little things would be damn fun! hehe. 110 horses would be easy to get out of an A15 with a bit
of headwork, cam and carbys etc. Should be a very nice ride once finished! cya
