I agree they look good when done right but l18_b110 those 2 pics are 2door sedans I think the question is for a 4door sedan which is harder to flare!

yeah, 4dr's are more work involved for sure but I was responding to how they look, not how hard they are to fit.

It's certainly do-able. The Steve Draheim flares (and bobtail) fit on sedans. Flares and wheels off my old coupe stuck onto the sedan for a look. Because this sedan was a bit high in the arse end, I taped the flare on a bit lower than it really should be to make it look lower at the back just for the photo - looked ridiculous with the 1.5" gap to the tyre...

Mmmm I'd like a pair rear flares for sedan and adjustable lca for front.

Could then widen front track and neg camber with an uncut diff in rear

Sorry budget build no $300 flares here, I have a pair suits front, need some rears if I ever decide to install a non shortened diff. Increased track won't be much of an issue as will be same width as a skyline lol

I agree with u l18_b110 they just make the sedans look fat! I'm trying to see how far I want to go as I need flares as my wheels sit out a fair way on the front and need more track on rear! Will see

L18_B110,
Thanks for the picture, I always wondered how the steves flares would look on a sedan.
As some of you might know I have a set of Steves flares, bobtail and front spoiler that I am looking to have moulds made from, mostly to support my racing habbit.
The fibreglasser is finishing the bobtail mould very soon (There has been a lot of work gone into the bobtail) and will start on the flares in the next few weeks.

different angle...

This car had pretty wide track:
-S13 (CA brakes) front end which is the widest front end you can stuff in a 1200
-Corolla BW68 4.3 diff. About 3" wider than 1200/120Y diffs, but the memory might be a little fuzzy there. It increased track to match a Stanza front pretty much exactly.
-And 13x7 -7 Superlites with 205/60 tyres

obviously the rear needed to be lowered ALOT, so I taped the flare on lower for the pic coz it looked stupid sitting up high above the tyre. Its much more obvious from this angle. With the car lowered and the flare in the right position, it would look alot fatter. I just whacked them on to see how it would look.

And the fronts didn't quite fit under the flare, but the S13 setup is wider than the common strut swaps, so the neg offset wheels and big tyres didn't quite fit under the front. These wheels fit easy with Stanza struts on my coupe for instance. A different wheel like a 14x7 +0ish with a 185 or 195 would have been good for the S13 front. Or even just a 185 on that Superlite would have worked.

I reckon the flares and bobtail would have looked great on this painted black like the bumpers.
