yes the cage will come in handy stiffening up the body.. it will need it lol. once the engine combo is sorted and i reach the limits of the rear suspension and tyres. it will be getting another complete makover.

Yeh i have a soft spot for the 2J, although they are still damn expensive to buy, and the LS1 will make more power reliably with less boost. and sound pretty sweet doing it. The complete engine only owes me $1000!
Going twin turbo mainly due to the space, could quite easily fit 35r size turbos in each corner, opposed to a 42r size on one side. Plus it will be something different, which i like :)

for sure man, let me know when your up this way again!

I think that ls1's are lighter too. This is gonna be one hell of a car to take to events like powercruise!

I'm shocked to find out the Toyo six weighs more than a 6-liter V8, but that's what they are saying at the Supra forums.

Mmmm, LS1 looks better than ever.

Looking forward to it.

Cheers for the comments lads!

BUT... Unfortunately I'm putting the big girl on the market, I'm massively regretting it but it has to be done. I'm finally biting the bullet and getting an op on my back to fix it up after breaking 3 vertebrae 2 years ago, it's effecting my work a bit now and I'd like to be back to normal again.

So if anyone is keen on owning what I think is one of the tuffest street/strip 1200 sedans send me a pm or text 0406143946.

It will be sold as a roller only!! NO ENGINE or BOX!!!
But includes everything else.. It currently has mounts to fit a 12a or 13b in.

I'll do a proper for sale add soon

Wardy you're a bigger dicktease than a King Street stripper!! There will be a lot of people (myself included) that will be very disappointed to see this not go ahead. Good luck with the dodgy back.
