Sadly, they'll never bring back our old favorites; that day is long gone. The only thing the Datsun name will do is bring in an opportunity to badge something that could be economically based or even perhaps performance oriented. Rumor I hear is that the Datsun branded products in the USA would compete against Toyota's Scion brand. Not sure how that would go though.

Probably just a rumor though.

as far as i was aware they were just making them for developing countrys, i assumed they wouldn't be realeased in australia because of the strict adr's

when i read up on it it was going to be a affordable range of nissans, which just means base model #OOPS# boxes

Just a DATSUN Batch on a car doesn't make sense unless we are getting back a car with the same shape of 1200 .
was dreaming about a 1200 with brand new A12 with Power steering ,power mirrors and shutters ,air condition so on
