any good datsun wreckers in western australia

Hi can anyone let me know please if there are such a thing called a datsun wrecker here in perth. i have just moved from sa heaps of old dato parts there but here in wa it seems they dont know what a datsun is . Looking for a 1980 datsun sunny sedan boot lid and rear bar and other bits cheers if any can help out

not there isnt a dedicated datsun wrecker over here which sucks but most wreckers over here wont touch old cars ,they just send them straight to scrap

but there are lots of guys using sunnys as jnr speedway cars so if you need a bumper and a boot lid then they would be the best people to ask

i know there is a few members from perth that race speedway with sunnys so maybe they could help out

In a word

No

Best off talking to the interstate wreckers and ante up for the freight. Or hope and pray one of the WA members here can help you out (well, thats what I do)

Other than that, all I can suggest is keeping an eye on gumtree.

I'm pretty sure Perth 4WD Centre used to be DatWreck. It might be a long shot, but give them a try. If they were indeed Datwreck once upon a time, they might still have Datto parts laying around, as they haven't moved premises.

they laughed at me! he said they closed down in the 80s and theres nothing datsun left there

no signs either ,i asked if they had any signs or banners theyd sell but no luck

pick a part closed back in 2008 because the guy got offered a squillion bucks for the land, and ever since there hasn't been a help-yourself wrecker in Perth. Which greatly saddened and inconvenienced shoom as it used to be his weekly thursday pilgrimage.

Pick a part was great, very sad when they closed. $50 for all the parts you can carry to the front desk.
We used to rip a bonnet off any car and pile our parts on it then get the biggest guy we know to carry it to the desk, so cheap.
