Sorry for the late reply guys haven't ever seen in person these flares but I'm sure we can get something worked out.wouldn't think the lip would be hard either :)

Only cars like Mercedes benz, jaguar and BMW came out with
SS wheel arches so making them for a datto is indulgent but
so much better than FRP or Carbon, itll be a timeless finish.

There are more cars with the datsun 1000 wheel than you think
eg Mk1 minis have the same wheel arch sizes, minis a little
shorter but can easily be cut to suit and Mini peeps buy all
kinds of stuff for their minis yet no SS flares available.

My prediction if you ever came through with them
Austin Mini and Leyland Minis 20-30 sets
Datsun 1000 10 sets
Datsun 1200 10 sets
and thats just OZ market

in Europe there are all kinds of retro cars with wheel sizes
to suit Datusn 1000 like cars for example....
Hillman imps, Skoda 130, Fiats 500, 600, 850 & more.
Will also look good on Nissan Micras and Jp Kei cars.

i need a custom mounting plate for my hardtop (1200 ute.

its one of the maddat ones but the mounting kit is clumsy and pretty crap to be honest.. i was going to get my local fabricator to make up a plate that can be welded to the ute body and the hardtop mounted to that..

only catch is i was going to get it made out of steel.. easier to work with later..for me anway..
