hey is it possible to change the speedo sender to a hall effect sender instead of cable much appreciated.

Most ca18 guys use older gearbox drives in their newer s13 boxes, to convert from electric to mechanical speedo. Assuming the gearbox sender suits the dash cluster, that should work. Depends what gearbox you want to add the electonic speedo drive to.

Standard r31 speedo sender just screws into a normal mechanicl speedo drive. So one of them would do the job with pretty much any mechanical nissan speedo drive.
Bit surprising other nissans done use the same thing

so if i just go and get a r31 electronic speedo unit, screw it into the transmission, the the other end should just plug straight into my r33 speedo?
