Hi Guys
I have corrected my carburetor issue 90% .So the car goes normal pulling well and idles smooth and doesn't die in idle ,but only after a complete stop i can't get it running unless i press the accelerate a higher rpm ,if not it tries to kill the engine only problem is that i have now.is it a symptom of lean air fuel mixture ? and again float level is perfect.
thanks regards sumith

Hi Sumith, is your carb getting hot ? if you stop the car then have trouble getting it going it could be vapor lock... basically the fuel gets that hot that it boils in the carb. i had this on my A14 engine and had to wrap the exhaust manifold and install a heat shield...

Quote: after a complete stop i can't get it running unless i press the accelerate a higher rpm By 'complete stop' do you mean turning off the engine? When re-starting a warm engine it is normal to hold throttle open part way - press accelerator pedal about 1/2 way down.

Hi DD
No While engine running only,if you stop the car a traffic or some reason, i can't get it running as usual need to accelerate moderately higher than usual if not engine tries to stall, while running normal speed no problem. Here i pulled a spark plug again and noticed it is little white color means too lean is it ?
and confirm me this too
Slow air bleed primary jet is much bigger than secondary is it ?

That looks too rich. The part where the color matters is deep down inside at the base of the insulator. You can get some idea by looking at the ring at the end of the threads.
To tell by the color, warm up the car, drive it as per normal and come to an idling stop. The cut the engine and look at the plugs. Because if you accelerate the car again, the color will change, so the color needs to be checked at the moment of problem.
Tendency to stall from a stop is usually caused by one of these: * Accelerator pump problem or * Vacuum Leak or * Bad coil
Occasional a coil will work fine at higher RPM but not at low RPM
To test for Accelerator pump trouble, while car is moving, let engine idle (depress clutch) for a while, then let out clutch and try to accelerate from idling RPM. If it is fine, chances are it is not the accelerator pump. You can also test the pump with a visual test.
Test the coil by swapping it with another unit, for example the one in your other Datsun.

You need to run it as long as necessary to re-create the problem condition. That might be 30 seconds, or it might be 10 minutes. Quote: confirm me this too
Slow air bleed primary jet is much bigger than secondary is it ? Take a look at the Jetting Specifications.
