My timing cover is currently on. I'll have to look through some photos to see if I took any pictures during the build.

The weather outside is frightful but inside the garage is delightful.
We have a bit of snow on the ground here.
I had a chance to sneak into the garage last night and finish up my motor mounts. The crossmember is complete minus the attach points to chain down the motor. I was definitely getting tired of putting in and pulling out the crossmember making sure everything fit and everything cleared. Its nice having that spare motor for my build.
So next are the attach points for the chains and then on to the custom intake for the supercharger.
One step at a time.

Was back to the garage yesterday and will be in there today as well. finished the cross member so the mock motor is coming out. I'll be working on cleaning up the wiring and give the engine compartment a fresh coat of paint. Still haven't built the intake or rebuilt the Holley but that's soon to be next. I'll post some photos as well.

OK. This is what I got done with the intake. Basically I cut the intake and then I set the aluminum pipe on top of it. It takes time but I then start with cutting a curvature groove along all 4 intake cylinders sliding the pipe back and forth continuing to cut the high sides down until the pipe fits perfect and all 4 of the intakes rap smoothly around the pipe. This is all done by hand with a pneumatic cutting wheel and an aluminum router tool. I used a bad cylinder head to hold the intake.
It was getting late so I had to quit for the evening. I'm not quit done.
After the pipe fits, I'll then cut it to the right length and then mark the pipe with a marker and then cut each hole out. Then its down the the weld shop to get this bad boy welded up. Injector holes as well.

Can't you bung up the Injector holes so you have efi as an option like I can talk in my bumblebee, I asked Simon to cut them off completely

To scollop the tube I usually use a hole saw through it or alternatively cut the tube twice in an X, once you done that you can rotate it 90 degree's and it will almost sit perfectly on the tube, but you need the correct angle for this method.
