Yeah two firewall plugs for wiring plus two main power bulkhead connectors.
One is a 21 pin plug which takes 16 awg wire, will use this for lights, thermo fan, ignition coil power and most non engine sensors. The other is a 55pin version that takes 20 awg wire, for all engine sensors.
Car is goin to be wired with tefzel from front to back. Just sorting out all the sensors in the next couple of weeks. Will post as i go, planning on the following.
Fuel, oil, water, air, front brake pressures. Oil, water, air, exhaust temps.
4x wheel speed sensors, and lastly steering angle. These combined with tps, rpm and gps plus three axis g sensors from the cdl3 should make for some fun data logging and improving lap times.
Throttle cable is from maddat.
Radiator is for a sprinter with a 4ag engine conversion. Got it from garage7.

Been doing a bit more work on the car.
I ran out of gas for the welder so still have some aluminium work to do.
Worked on the brake lines, routing them through the car. Did the clutch line as well.
The front roll center spacers turned up so have temp fitted them.
The front brake caliper dog bones are beeing machined this week.
Still waiting on a quote to come back for the sensors before i can start on the wire loom.
Finished the exhaust off and it is now fitted.
A few photos below. The left side of the engine is starting to look like spaghetti junction.

Still working on the car, albeit a bit slowly at the moment.
Now have the brake dog bones, machined from 6061 alloy.
Have bough and waiting delivery on a few things
Bought superlite GTR wheels. 15x7 p12 for the fronts and P26 for the rear.
Have all the sensors on order, should arrive next week.
Sensors are:
4x wheel speed
Front brake pressure
Fuel, oil, water, air pressure
Oil, water and air temp
Wideband o2
4x ignition coils.
Steering angle sensor for data logging.

Today i installed the ID1000 injectors.
Need to shim the fuel rail to get them to fit properly. They have a larger base below the lower oring that does not fit into the CA manifold. So i used a slightly larger oring on the bottom and spaced the fuel rail out using a washer.
Mounted the motec CDL3 dash and SLM.
Due to the location of one of my roll cage struts i had to mount the SLM under the CDL3, still all visible in the seating position.
I put the modified struts in to gauge the ride height for correct spring length, i will require 180mm long springs. Which should give me 4 inches of total front suspension travel. My calc tell my i should use 350 lbs front springs.
Photos below should represent the static ride height.
Working on painting the front valance, but it was raining today.
Once all the sensors arrive ill get the the wire 100m 20 awg tefzel and 100m 16 awg tefzel for the heavier draw gear.
Looking forward to getting the loom finished, it should be fun.
Finished modifying the radiator pipes, not pretty but should be ok.
I had both front hubs modified but found that there is a difference with some stanza hubs.
Some stanza hubs have the already 'counter sunk' disc holes further counter bored. This left one hub when modified with not enough thread left to mount the disc. Luckily i had another two at home, both of which are the preferable configuration, so just need to engage a machine shop to get one modified..

Why the kink in exhaust? Looks close to body towards rear. Is ut the gear box x member? I routed mine towards rail more and got 30mm more clearance than before

yeah i re-used the front section from the car before this build.
It is to clear the gearbox crossmember.
I wanted it to be close to the floor as it turns for the outlet, it turns just behind where the front chassis rail end (where the floor kicks up a bit) and exits at the back of the passanger door (need to be further back then 50% wheel base).
It doesn't sit that low about 80-90mm off the ground at the lowest point, but im not worried about it. That is untill i strattle a ripple strip or cant get it onto the car trailer :).

not doing the flares anymore, It was going to cost too much for too little return.
I do have a mould for the bobtail (heavily modified) that i may produce parts from.

As for a quick update, I got all the sensors the other day, will be gathering the rest of the wire loom gear and starting on that installation pretty soon.
