EXTRA INFO:
It is with much hesitation that I'm advertising my father and my mint condition 'granny' KB10 for sale. The car is in Sydney, however we would be happy to assist with transportation. It is in original, unmodified and unrestored condition and has just under 100,000 genuine miles on the clock.
The history of the car as we know it is that it was purchased from a Melbourne Datsun dealer (still has the original dealer sticker!) and was owned by an older lady until the mid 90s. It was traded in, and a family friend of ours purchased it from the dealer. He meticulously detailed the car and used it occasionally, before we purchased it off him around five years ago and brought the car to Sydney. It was registered in NSW until recently, but although the registration has lapsed, it would easily pass a roadworthy certificate. We have driven the car for fun on weekends and have taken it to some Datsun meets.
The car is in great mechanical condition, and starts first go. We recently replaced the head gasket as the original gasket had developed a slight water leak. The paint is in good original condition. The only blemishes to the bodywork are a small dot of rust (about half the size of a five cent piece) below the rear quarter window in the flat horizontal panel and a small dent (50 cent piece size) in the bonnet. All interior is in good original condition, and the seats have the rare factory headrest option. We placed aftermarket carpet over the original to protect it. The original owners manual and toolkit is also included.
This car would suit a collector or perhaps a museum. We're looking for it to go to a good home.
