finished all the wiring, turned over on the first #OOPS#, everything is sparking, charging and running right. Have done the fuel system but not really happy with it, gonna run a regulator, gauge and plumb a return line. Engine sounds healthy turning over, with a fresh set of plugs and timing it should kick over no worries. \ Also put in a new clutch fork and bled the maddat kit. Have got a TRD 2 way to put in when i can track down a ute diff housing to modify, may need to modify the tail shaft to fit the diff flange but doesn't look to big of a job. Once thats done its just a matter of bolting the radiator in, thermo fan wiring is done, sus out what i wanna do with rear suspension, new exhaust and she will be pretty much done.

haha yeah im hearing ya, but once its running thats it, im defiantly not painting it, interior is staying the same, wheels are staying etc. Mite add some cams, gears, head work, hydro hand brake etc. along the track but thats all pissy little weekend jobs. Pretty stoked how its turned out that, wasnt easy trying to build it over 3 years on an apprentice wage in a carport.

I've got a Toyota TRD two way centre out of AE86 with 24mm spline to put in the ute housing, word on the street is they fit, just need to drill n tap a few holes on the housing. It's 10mm shorter than the ute centre so should be taken up in the yolk but I'm gonna fab up a little alloy spacer so everything sits nice, tight and flush.
So yeah, Toyota engine, box and diff. None of this #OOPS#ty plastic datsun #OOPS#.
