Nicely maintained sedan with a 5-speed and one of the better reupholstery jobs I've seen.

All North American 1200s came with round-gauge dash and disc brakes.

OK I know I'm reeeeally cheap but is a basic sedan worth 5K??? Perhaps I'm loving in the past but that seems really high to me, I mean no offense to the owner but I just don't think our cars have reached this price.

Tom, as my granpa used to say when I asked him what underwear he had on: "Depends."
A resto-modded faux GX coupe pulled around $7k on Bring A Trailer in October 2012, (which shocked me) and it needed a ton of bodywork and interior work to make it look as good as this sedan.
This here $5k (OK, let's say bargained down to $4k) sedan with it's freeway friendly 5-speed might make a good buy for someone looking for a 40mpg basic commuter instead of a $15k Kia appliance car. Of course, for that $15k one usually gets niceties such as air conditioning, cruise control, decent stereo, and an interior that doesn't sound as if one is riding in the inside of an empty 5 gallon petrol tin. That said, this little sedan is probably a lot quieter than stock with it's posh upholstery; it looks straight, rust-free and ready to rumble...er, putt.
