Hi all,
Can you help me identify the engine this Nissan/Datsun oil pan came off of? Not A-series.

Originally I stated it was not L-series. Is it L-series? Am I wrong?
Peter

Z-series is same as L-series but with opposite slant
L: 12 degrees to right
Z: 10 degrees to left

why do you say not L series?

that's what it looks like to me. The way the slant goes, the way the pan widens half way along, the oil pickup location.

I originally stated this is not L-series, but it looks like I am wrong. I do not work with any L-series stuff and I should have kept my mouth shut. - Peter

Think you've got it the wrong way round mate, that is is a front sump like the A10 Stanza or 910 Bluebird (in Aus anyway).
