Yes you heard it right the BRE stands for Brock Racing Enterprises and on both sides of the Pacific they were top of their game. and Both Peter Brocks.

Yep you heard right - founder of BRE (Brock Racing Enterprises) who campaigned the 510 and other Datsuns in Trans Am US series in the late 60's and early 70's. He designed the BRE colour scheme which has been much copied ever since.

I always thought it was the most tragic twist of irony, that the car our Brock was killed in was a replica of the vehicle designed and built by the U.S. Brock (in conjunction with Carrol Shelby).
