Team_Dat, a "Datsun 210" is a rear-wheel-drive model. It's the B310, known as "Sunny" in Australia.

But anyways, the Yahoo club Datsun 210 is for both B210s and B310s. When I used to frequent it, there was almost zero talk about fwd cars. And there was lots of useful talk there, even a lot of A-series talk we should be keeping up with.

Maybe we should just absorb that club, we could rename this site datsun1200b210sunny.com.

i've pipped 100mph in my 1200 sedan with 15in rims, slight tailwind and a TIRED A12 at redline in fourth.

then there was a loud bang, some nasty noises, and whirring, a gridning, then another loud bang and then compression lockup of the rear wheels at a now-slowed-down-to 50mph. smoke was billowing out at this stage - and yep, sure enough, there was a conrod and half my block missing.

that was a LONG walk home too.

I was once tonning it down Tram road in a stock 1200 coupe, when it overheated and boiled over. I had to take a leak in the radiator to get home.
