probably you have thought about it?? it would help with your legs!
why not have the donk take up all of the passenger area instead?
Fwd K series box can be used with cable shift which can be located
where you like and lock diff drive to run one shaft as a prop shaft.
This would help with the offset but maybe possible with rwd box.

Fwd K series fwd box weighs 100-110 lbs as in this link on ebay
full shipping weight is 115lbs so very close to original GSR integra Acura weight
http://www.ebay.com/itm/RSX-K-Series- ... :uF4AAOSw~ZdVfhXT&vxp=mtr

while S2000 box f20c + trans approx. 209kg = 459.8lbs - 154kg for engine = rwd box = 55kg

K20 6 speeds are cheaper and more available

Howdy D,

The rules for a sports sedan require the crank shaft to be down the centre line of the car, so even though your Idea has merit I can't do it.

The pedal box will be about 300mm from the fire wall, at that point the width of the foot well is 320mm.

I've measured the foot well width in a coupe of clubman kit cars and the narrowest one was 295mm.

So the pedals will be tight but do-able.
Just means I wont be able to drive it in my steel cap boots. . . . . .

Cheers
Geoff

Howdy.

No room for the motor in the passenger seat area.
That's where the fuel cell is going.

Hey Geoff,
Any chance on the history of that shell? The purple paint looks mighty familiar ....

Cheers.

Jeff I was thinking the same thing, and it even looks like it has the cuts on the rear wheel arches.
I can assure you the floor was intact when I sold it.

Howdy, R-fastmotorsport, McGee and D

I bought The shell from a guy in Port Adelaide.
He did not tell me anything about it.
All he wanted to do was get rid of it. . . . .

Just in case it is the same shell, can you guys tell me the history from when you had it?

If you guys know the chassis number of the shell you
had I can tell you if it matches.

And D, no need to apologies for suggesting something different to what I've done. . . . The different approaches to doing things is what makes life interesting.

The next step was the rear suspension.

The S13 Silvia sub frame has been cut down.
We made the track wider than a street car to take advantage
of the 100 mm wide flares I'm allowed to run.

All the control arms are on car adjustable so I can try every set up in the book until I find one that works.

The shockers are two way adjustable. (bump and rebound are adjustable separately)

Because it's a race car I could cut away as much of the body as I liked.
Not much floor left . . . .

Cheers,
Geoff

I'm sorry, but No, the chassis number is not the same.
