Hi guys, just wondering about those cnc billet efi manifold pieces that were spoken about a while back. Did someone have an oval port design drawn up? I have a mate that had a 4 axis machine and thought a group buy might work to keep some costs reasonable.

They might be on the site somewhere but here they are. AutoCAD DWG format.

Email me @ Mattndew02@yahoo.com

I am pretty confident I still have a Solid Model of the round port.

I have a design for oval port I did a while ago for small injectors. I could revise it to suit standard size injectors so that it suits everyone. I did look at getting it machined (mild steel for me but would work in aluminium as well) the feed back I got was it would be a lot of machine time. One prototyping place we use at work quoted me $600-, can't remember if that was each or for the pair now but either way a bit steep so I started thinking about other options.

There's probably some images of it on the forum somewhere.

I still had the screen grab in my files. The intention is to fit a 1.5" pipe into the flange and weld it on. The section is small near the pipe so it's should weld alright.

thaaaats what im looking for! so is anyone willing to share or sell or anything similar their design? i have a friend who is in the process of setting up his vary large multi tool 4 axis cnc machine. he asked for a 3d file which he called a step file?

So have a few guys drawn up similar ones? im looking for an oval port version and my setup is a gx port size, so id either have to tweak the drawing or hand port it.

id have to get a quote obviously, and i think its always the more that are made the cheaper?

I put that link up already has all the pics there.

Lamb is there a big performance hit by having injectors
a bit further back away not on the flange so they dont
spray directly at the back of the valves like some retro
fit kits for bikes, cars etc
