I agree, posts are much more irregular, things have definitely changed over the past few years. I think most for sale items now get listed on Facebook and the like due to convenience and larger audience now. I am yet to find any part of Facebook that is nearly as useful for information as this site.
I still check in from time but rarely post these days, mostly as my build thread is pretty much done and I am only doing small things on the ute in recent times so not much to really post about!
Facebook has some merit and you can get responses very quickly, but man are there some F wits on that platform!! As demacoz mentioned I'll stay away from the off topic here too... haha.

Hey Everyone - Great to hear that everyone I use to have replys from still poke their head in from time to time.
I've been busy building a new chassis for the Turbo Datto A15 Powered Clubman 7 which is in assembly phase and 60% complete. Have been posting a lot of the build on the Ozclubbies site.
Will put up a few pick if anyone is interested

hey guys, its definitely not what it used to be but still a great resource for all the 1200 info that you need when piecing things together.

I haven't been on here much but have just started working on my other 1200 sedan that I've now owned for 13 years. Plan is to develop it into a nice reliable & fun street car complete with 47 year old paint. this one will be A series powered with some inspiration from a joy ride in ziggys ute a couple of years back :)

I still check almost daily but the fun with covid has meant I haven't been able to race or do track days and so I don't have much to post.

I check every day to see what's new. I don't usually do it on a computer where I can reply, if I see something that I think I can add to I will make the effort to log in at home and reply, otherwise I keep my fingers off the keyboard.

Still here but yeah Facebook and the like have defiantly killed forums. Will be getting to you soon Simo once we can get out of lockdown!

Seems to be the same old crowd that are keeping the faith.

The project threads are what I find most interesting and also the thing you don't find much on Facebook.

It would be great if photos could be uploaded as simply as they can on Facebook.

I'd hate to see this resource go, as things like the Tech Wiki have been invaluable to me.
