How would an after market computer moniter the air flow on this type of setup or is a throttle position sensor and O2 sensor enough????

Probably a MAP sensor, but that too would get complicated with four individual runners I would think.

It wouldn't be too bad to get a good air flow metering system working on this setup. All you'd have to do is drill and tap a hole in each runner and then connect each runner together with a hose that is eventually hooked up to a MAP sensor. Another way to do it is to have an induction plenum made up and then mount it all on that. I wouldn't mind a setup like that as well, but it's not worth it really. You'll be able to get a little more power and throttle response, but you'll also have to go with a complete aftermarket computer setup and tuning would be fun I'd would much rather go with a Greddy intake manifold ($275 - 400) and Q45 90 mm TB, it's much more practical and affordable.

Found a 4 way vaccume tree Igues this is what you use to add the MAP sensor.

Does anyone have dimensions for the Gready intake Cause my standard plenum hits my brake booster ($275-400 is a good price) and i wouldnt need an after market computer.

Does the Gready intake use the side fed injectors or the top fed ones?

Found a plenum for the Quad throttlebodies

Why not use the quad throttle bodies off a pulsar GTIR and then use the GTIR computer and it will all bolt up?

thats my plan.

These are the same as the ones i'm using on the rallycar, I'm using the T.P.S as opposed to a MAP sensor

many after market ems cannot handle quad throttle bodies using vacum as a reference. They rely on throttle position. Quad throttle bodies apparently don't produce enough vacum.

datsik, thats why i'm using the tps, it's not so much that they don't create enough vacuum it's more that the vacuum that is created is to erratic to sence reliably for a map sensor, this erratic vacuum only get worse with the wilder cam you use.

My 2 cents worth!

I run these very throttle bodies on a normally aspirated FJ...
There is just no way that you can get enough signal for a MAP sensor, trust me, I tried everything....
I run with pure TPS. This is unfortunate in that you dont get any indication of engine load, so it's little better than a mechanical injection setup.
The joy is that you can do things that arent possible with carbs, which can make the package a whole heap more driveable....

How do people run 4 TB's on street driven cars????

Must surely run pretty conservative ignition maps???
