well being Catholic and all.......
These are the crimes I've comittied against my 1200.
1984 I owned the car for a day and sold it to my best mate
1989 I got the car back and started racing it.
1997 I sold the car because I had this dollar sucking Single seater
2001 I got the car back.

Also along the way I have thrown out good interior parts and a pristine set of hubcaps and over two moves the 12" jelly belly bean mags came up missing.
Ok so what evil things have you done.

Tom , Las Vegas

Tom, I feel the same when I think about all the 1600 (510), 1200, and 1000 (B10) parts that I discarded since the mid nineties.. Unfortunately I have moved house about 10 times and couldn't take spare parts with me :(

You may want to sit down for this one. . .

I received a 5-speed about 8 years ago.

It was stuffed, collapsed lay shaft bearing, general wear and tear. I priced a set of bearings. A bit expensive I thought.

So I threw the box away

I have learnt my lesson and have paid pennance by putting several Datsuns back on the road, although they have all had 4 speeds

I personally put several B110s in the car crusher during the 1980s. But I've recently put an abandoned 1200 back on the road, so that makes up for it, right? I hope?

I picked up an abandoned, almost towed away coupe for $10. I picked some front suspension and engine compartment bits from it, completely disassembled the rest and threw it away. Right in the garbage can, every week, bit by bit.
I once found a coupe at the junkyard with a factory tach... I smashed the tach.
Another 1200 at the junkyard had a ultra rare (for the US) passenger side package tray under the glove box. I broke that too.

Forgive me Datsun1200.com, for I have sinned.

I jumped on the roof of my 1000 coupe 1 week before selling it (it was giving me the $hits) and bought an auto Corolla instead.

I sent another 1000 coupe to the crusher, complete minus engine and GB.
..which really sucks 'cause now I need parts off of it...

Forgive me...

TC

I have a 1200 ute, 1000 coupe (much better than he other 2) and I made my missus buy a Nissan too. Do I still go to hell now?

...Oh yeah, how could I forget?

I sold my completely re-built L20 turbo 1600 for a stock Mazda RX3 sedan!!!
I still hate myself for that!
