I guess that I'm a bit of a poser. But that's only because I'm proud of my efforts.

Not many posers have dirt and grease under their fingernails. My hands hurt so bad from cuts/burns/overuse, that it's difficult to type this. The Datto is almost done.

Cheers.

I hear ya Chris.....I sit here this morning with a chunk out of my hand from where the strut (with rotor attached) dropped on to my hand last night.....I have crap under my nails that wont come out, and no amount of scrubbing has been able to get my hands spotless since the weekend!

I think I've pulled a muscle in my back, my shoulders are killing me and my hands are aching.........but at least the new strut tops are in now ;)

See ya'll at the Nats!

You know i think you hit the nail on the head there man, i have never seen a guy saying "check out my subwoofer in my hot as **** model datsun man it's fully sick it kicks all the othe v6 commodore ass"

or you don't hear modifications being done to datsuns like.
-pursuit rims
-2.5 inch sport exhausts from the cat back cos you get the lukey sticker
-K&N panel filters cos you get the sticker
-the magical $3000 dollar stereo figure, they always cost that much.

and last but not least. the huge "ford racing" or "Holden Racing" stickers are missing. i'm yet to see a huge "datsun racing" sticker on a stock standard any datto.

the most work posers do is put on line lockers and thats a bit of a stretch.

good observation there rally twit.

sorry for the long post, we have lots of commo falco drivers around my area and they are all complete ass heads!!!

I have some buddies who are life long Corvette and Porsche owners and man do they have to put up with the posers.
I think half the reason I raced 125 GP bikes was to fly past posers on 750's and scare the death out of them.
My favorite 1200 memory is of a zooty boy Vette owner and his blonde girlfriend with afterparts showing up at a local Auto-X. They had that look when I unloaded the 1200 off the trailer...."look at that hunk of poo" of course at the end of the day when I was 5th overall and he was 38th they were just shaking there heads.
So be happy the posers gravitate toward Falcons and Commodores (sp).
