If you are going to eventually go for a bigger motor ie/ CA18DET etc. I'd suggest some S13 / 180sx brakes & calipers on some 120Y or Stanza struts..... You just need an adaptor plate for the the calipers - Can fix you up with adaptor plates, PM me if interested.

or you could use hilux 4spots, which only involve the elongation of one bolt hole with a round file and then bolt straight up over 180SX discs.

you're in luck today just finished doing it tonight the list goes :
1200 strut tops
2" lowered stanza springs (or the orig 1200 springs to keep similar height)
stanza strut bodies, girlok calipers preferably
stanza brake hoses
stanza steering arms
stanza ball joints
stanza lower control arms and pivot bolts
stanza outer tie rod ends (to go into steering arms)
120y radius/castor rods.

the only bit i needed to modify was the radius rod, lined up and bolted the threaded hole, then had to redrill the other hole to line up with the hole in the controlarm/balljoint.
took about a day to clean up enough room in the garage, get the car in pull out all the existing bits and put in the new bits.
took my slack a$$ about 3 weeks and then some to reco, clean and paint all the bits
hope this helps ........ and everyone else that asks can find it with the seach bar

i too have just finished a disc brake conversion to my 1200 sedan.
i used 120y struts, with 1200 springs and strut tops. i used the '78 120y struts discs and calipers cos they're an aussie assembled PBR product.
i aslo swapped the struts left to right to clear the steering arms once i put silvia rotors and calipers in place. i bough the master cylinder with the struts can anyone tell me how to swap it for the standard single cylinder 1200 one?
cheers
Elliott

don't forget to swap the struts right-to-left and left-to-right! this not only helps clear the steering arm, but mounts the caliper towards the centre of the car to improve weight distribution.

or, you could use (thanks dattoman!)

120Y struts

B310 (sunny) hubs, outer edge turned down to 140mm
